History is where games truly shine. The major decisions that have shaped our world rest in your hands, not in a textbook. Kids will construct their own civilizations, feel the weight of diplomacy, and journey the underground railroad together. ​

We’ll discuss culture and society at all levels: what makes a successful community and why so much is lost in translation between citizens and leaders. The RPG drops students in the middle of an historical event of their choosing. They will pull back the curtain of a pivotal moment, become the decision makers, and gain a nuanced view of the different perspectives that create historical conflict.
